BIKA was the founder of this dynasty who ruled from 1464-1504. He was from the junior branch of the Rathor dynasty and fifth son of Jodha of Marwar. He was the founder of the city of Bikaner (perhaps named after him) which became his capital. His successors were Nara and Lumakarna respectively, who have made the state a formidable force.
