BAHLUL KHAN LODHI - 1451 - 1489. He founded this dynasty by capturing Delhi Sultanate from Alam Shah of Sayyid dynasty without any resistance in 1451. He expanded his ruling to Gwalior, Jaunpur and UP. Power struggle between his two sons resulted in his death.

SIKANDHAR LODHI - 1489 - 1517 - He was the second son of Bahlul Khan Lodhi. He managed to capture the power by overpowering the two other sons of Bahlul Khan. He was an able administrator and expanded his territory in Gwalior, Bihar and also bilateral relationship with Alauddin Hussain Shah of Bengal. He was the founder the city of Agra and died in 1517.
IBRAHIM LODHI - 1517 - 1526 - Succeeded Sikandhar Lodhi - Not an able administrator. Babur from Afghan invaded India in 1526 and defeated Ibrahim Lodhi in a battle at Panipat, what is called the I Battle of Panipat. Thus came the end of slave dynasty and the beginning of Mughal dynasty which later to rule India nearly three centuries. The Mughal dynasty was founded by Babur in 1526 after the I Battle of Panipat.
